What is the difference between an UberTatt for a wall and one for a car? The difference is in the material. An UberTatt for walls is made of a slightly heavier material that can be removed (without harming paint or wall) and re-applied. An UberTatt for a car is made of a very thin vinyl so tht once it is applied, it looks painted on. It can be removed but not used again or repositioned. Both are 100% safe for the surfaces they are applied to. Are UberTatts easy to install? Yes UberTatts are easy to install. Our staff has had their children, 10 years and even younger install them. How does the weather affect the quality of the UberTatt? UberTatts for cars are not affected by the weather. They will last for several years even throug snow, rain, cold, heat etc..... They are extremely durable, and flexible. The adhesive is designed for use on smooth surfaces such as metal, glass, and plastic; and offers excellent UV resistance, good initial tack, and long-term adhesion with clean removability.
How do I care for my UberTatt? No real maintenance is required. Solvents, harsh chemicals and of course scraping will affect the UberTatt but generally speaking, onc ethey are applied you don't have to do a thing.
Are UberTatts for cars safe in an automated car wash? Yes. UberTatts are car-wash safe and resistant to hot water and soap. However we do recommend that you visit brushless car washes.
Will an UberTatt damage my vehicle’s paint or my wall paint? Absolutely not. These materials are specially made by manufaturers such as 3M and LG Chem specificaly for cars and walls. How do I remove the UberTatt from my car? They are easily removed with a portable hair dryer by just heating and peeling off.
Can I custom design my own UberTatts? IF you have an electronic file we can probably make it into an UberTatt. Use our upload file tool to send us your file with what you are interested in.
Can I use UberTatts for the windows of my car? UberTatts will stick to window surfaces; however we don’t recommend blocking your view of the road and depending on your city or state laws, it may not be legal.
